Walker Celebrates 25 years  4th February 2005

As part of its twenty-fifth anniversary celebrations, Walker Books has launched its new website: walkerbooks.co.uk. The new site has been extensively market researched to make it as comprehensive and user-friendly as possible and to enable it to meet the needs of the trade, librarians, teachers, the press and parents.

Users will be able to access AI sheets, down-loadable images, jackets, activity packs and teachers' notes, sneak previews, biographies and news. There will also be an exclusive book trade area which is e-commerce linked to the company's warehouse systems. The company has much to celebrate - Walker authors have won the Smarties prize 12 times and the Kate Greenaway Medal seven times.
