The
Red House Children's Book Award is the only major children’s
book prize in the UK decided by the readers. The award is made annually
to the best work of fiction for children after hundreds of books
have been read, digested and voted for by children. Now in its twenty-fifth
year, the award is building on a position of strength with more
books being entered and more children taking part than ever before.
