We are working on the livery designs for a new mobile library with "The Anholts", so took the opportunity to visit and meet Laurence at their children's bookshop (Chimp & Zee bookshop by the sea) in Lyme Regis - and what a success it's turning out to be. |

| It's an amazing achievement nestling amongst the holiday shops and you are immediately drawn to look in the shop window which is alive with movement and colour thanks to an imaginative series of animatronic displays - all at a child's level - there's Chimp (or is it Zee) cycling his bicycle round & round and a fully lit revolving Ferris wheel with the chimps on board, doors that open, windows that close, masses of fun and amusement! - then you go inside and the ingenuity is repeated downstairs & up - there's Arthur Robins artwork on the walls of the driftwood staircase, and even a small events area for visiting schools to be entertained by Catherine & Laurence. If you are anywhere near Lyme Regis this summer you really must call in, visit and experience this totally unique bookshop - it's well worth it! In the meantime, enjoy a photographic tour . . |
