it about?
Twins Connor
and Grace Tempest are separated during a violent storm at sea. Grace
finds herself on board a mysterious ship with a fearsome crew while
Connor is rescued by a group of Pirates. Desperate to find each
other, the twins set sail on a voyage of adventure, intrigue and
discovery.

“I’m
dead excited about Vampirates being published,” author Justin
Stomper told us. “It’s an idea I’ve had for a
long time. The word Vampirates came to me in a bit of a Eureka!
moment. I knew immediately that there was potential for an exciting
story there. But I knew too that readers would have certain expectations
relating to that name. I worked hard to try to fulfil those expectations.
I hope also that I’ll surprise some of the readers with the
choices I’ve made.
“I’m
working on the next book which will be called Tide of Terror and
picks up the action about six months later. All the key characters
return but quite a bit has changed since we last met them. The Vampirate
world is about to enter a new phase of turbulence and Grace and
Connor will be right at the heart of it.”
